murder game
Dec. 15th, 2004 01:45 amWell, that went much better than I'd dared hope for.
Work was okay. Team meeting was okay. Lunch was very good indeed. Murder Game went off like a house on fire. Two of the players got right into the swing of it, and dragged everyone else along with their enthusiasm, till by the end even those of the team who weren't playing were asking pointed questions and making accusations.
It was marvellous. I was hyped, euphoric, and exhausted for the rest of the afternoon. ;)
Frances and Denise (the team members who run some of the training courses) were actually asking if I could give them the documentation for the game, in case they were doing a multiple-day course and wanted to use it for one of the evenings, as a combination of coding exercise (there was a coding puzzle in it) and relaxation.
So. Really, really happy.

our age of gold
and sung our song of brass,
fingers will brush
the age aside,
fingers and leaves
of grass.

Date: 2004-12-15 04:02 pm (UTC)b) one organiser who'd never written a murder game before, even if she'd done other stuff. :)
Besides, come on. If it had gone badly and I'd put them off any sort of murder evening for life, I'd have been very depressed indeed.
