incandescensWell, we were working, but I'm not really sure I can say we were working hard.
Got home and scrubbed out the bathroom ready for Christmas. What fun.
Have begun assembling vague spreadsheet to map PuzzlePirates trade prices. The words "vast rakeoff by storekeepers" come to mind -- all the expensive stuff gets marked up heavily from when it's bought off poor hapless pirates like m'self. In a player-driven economy, I suppose this is not at all surprising.
Hm. Need to wander round to the Sapphire group of islands again and see what the herb prices look like there, now that I've got a rough note of the vague prices in the more central islands. Hm.
Book arrived from amazon's zshops; Maya Deren's Gods of Voodoo, a re-edition of her Divine Horsemen. Very interesting.
Three other parcels for me apparently came, but the damn postman took them away after he couldn't get them through the door. Hopefully my father will have time to pick them up tomorrow. Pfeh.

They had "put it all away,"
He requested them to tune up and begin.
Though its icy horror chill you to the core,
I will tell you what I never told before--
The consequences true
Of that awful interview,
For I listened at the keyhole in the door!
