index highway, metaphor city
Jan. 11th, 2005 12:23 amGah. I have a new admiration for people who compile indices. I expect it will grow over the next few days.
Explanation; am currently checking/updating the big index of Coding Clinic updates on coding rules and new codes. Gah. Gah, again.
Annoyingly, the Winchester music shops did not have the Jerry Springer Opera on sale. This is particularly annoying because I know the Southampton ones do, but I won't be able to get at those (due to work hours) till Saturday. Oh well.
I'm tempted to blame the lamb moussaka we had for supper. Moussaka is always splendid while you're eating it, and then lies across the stomach like a lead blanket afterwards, and reaches tendrils upwards to invade the brain like black lotus smoke, and I've lost control of this metaphor, haven't I?

AdAstraGames says, "I could care less if the bullet is propelled by caseless ammo, bipropellants that are electrically ignited, antimatter pellets, or the outraged screams of XoXed buddhist monks who've been informed that they have NOT reached Nirvana. :)"
