incandescensIndexing continues at work. Owing to the incompetence of the person who previously put this together, I'm having to check the spellings of all the Syndromes. Ordinary medical terminology I can generally spot as misspelled, but when it's something like "Anton's Syndrome" or "Kikuchi Disease", a check is advisable. (I mean, heavens, it might be Antons Syndrome, or Anton Syndrome, or . . . well, you get the highly annoying idea.)
On a brighter note, discovered that the extremely trashy but rather fun French graphic novel series 666 has spawned a sequel-series, 6666, set in the far distant future, where Lilith has been revived from her floating crystal grave, the long-dead Pope (hero of the first one) has been cloned, and doubtless matters are about to get very violent in short order. But hopefully amusing as well. Yes, amazon.fr assures me that a copy has been ordered and will be dispatched, hopefully with dispatch.
Heh. While discussing ongoing GetBackers fic with friend, she points out major unaddressed plot strand. Rapid brainstorming of same, together with application of healthy dose of "how can I get it to work with current background", means that major events will be happening in the next chapter that were not previously scheduled, but will involve cheerful helpings of violence and angst for several cast members, not to mention adding further depth to a telephone call that failed to get through earlier. Heh.
Seem to have agreed to cook supper tomorrow. Beef, I think. With mushrooms and peppers, and a few small onions. And garlic, and soy sauce, and the meager remains of that bottle of oyster sauce. It's Friday night. My mother doesn't have to worry about meetings on Saturday. A healthy dose of garlic is permissible.
And I still need more blasted cards in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
