as pants the hart
Sep. 24th, 2002 12:25 amHaving to produce regularly every evening, plus having a moderately hectic day at work, is doing nothing for my ability to produce entertaining verbiage here. Plus, I'm too tired to rant interestingly.
I have a new little fiction lapinou (note: lapin is French for rabbit, lapinou is the, well, cutified form. Bunny might be a good translation. Adding the -ou or -inou or -anou ending seems to be a general cutifier -- is there a better word than that? -- or affectionate modifier. Thus, in Angel Sanctuary, much to their disgust, we get Raphinou and Mikanou from Raphael and Mikael. We do not, however, get Sevothtartinou. Can't think why.)
Anyhow, lapinou. Lapinou requires discipline. Lapinou will kindly get its act together and present me with a few concrete images rather than playing silly buggers in the carrot patch and flashing an occasional fluffy white scut.
I really hope my subconscious was listening to that.
(No, lapinou, you don't get the black leather overcoat until you come up with a few concrete scenes. Got that?)
