incandescensI have eaten too much (roast goose), I have drunk too much (kir royale), and I am strongly considering going back to the settee (as opposed to a settei) and lying back and shutting my eyes again. Everyone gave each other very nice presents. Mine were enjoyed. Thank goodness.
My sister gave me a set of sushi-making utensils. Well now, this _will_ be interesting.

The morning service (at Winchester Cathedral) was excellent, but I was yet again reminded that I haven't tried to do any proper singing for too long, when the carols hit the higher notes. Tch.
Oh. (Happy smile.) My parents gave me something that they'd brought back from China. It's a dragon. In jade, they believe. White/green and orange jade. Small but lovely. Sitting on my bookshelf, now. Or ramping along it, whatever an appropriate term might be. Mmm.
