incandescensA short entry today, I think. Went to see my mother in the Southampton Philharmonic singing Mozart's _Requiem_. Very nice indeed, very enjoyable.
England's next football match on Wednesday morning, early. Good, that should result in less interruption to work.
Back to work tomorrow. Tell me why I don't like Mondays . . .
Still, will be able to tell Japanese-speaking coworker that I actually understood a line on one of my Saiyuki DVDs. "Yare yare, kakkoi desu ne?" Still quite unreasonably gratified by this.
Currently besieged by too many books. Hell with it, I'm starting Kushiel's Chosen.
