Astonishing how many of my Friday entries tend to start with, "thank God it's the weekend". I'm sure there is a deep and meaningful explanation for this. Perhaps I should demand a research grant to look into the question.
My parents are off to London tomorrow to see my brother, which is nice for all of them. I'm doing supper, and since they're having lunch at a Chinese restaurant, I'd better do something other than stirfry. Or sushi. (I'm doing that Monday week, and I suspect smoked salmon will be involved. Mm.) So -- pasta, perhaps. Memo to self; check cookery books tomorrow before going out shopping.
The day's work was, well, work, and is done. The evening's work is also done. I've also discovered the most appallingly addictive online game, at http://www.netives.com/Games/Wormz/index.shtml , which is far too distracting. Tch.
And there's Paris to look forward to. ;)
