I will probably regret it tomorrow, but I put in a big effort tonight and finished that quilt.

I feel proud, virtuous, and tired. :) I will try to get photos up tomorrow.

(For the record, the effort was in hand-stitching the binding around the edge. But you know how it is when a task is almost, almost done . . . and you just want to finish it, and you know that you can if you just stay there and work at it a little longer.)

Will possibly be able to think of something other than that quilt tomorrow. :)

There's a zee-captain down at Wolfstack Docks who claims you can render Neath-snow into white glim on any kitchen stove. I have tried it. I have a pan of goo to show for it. Three of my cats tasted the goo when I left it unobserved a moment too long. The one that lives is locked in the cellar now. I do not expect I will ever dare to release it. I have developed a dislike of zee-captains.

When you compare several thousand words to a mere (counts up - 12 large squares, 12 nine-patch squares, one piece of backing, one piece of wadding, a long multi-strip of binding) 123 pieces of fabric . . .
