Apparently there's snow in Scotland and in Northern Ireland. Fortunately there's none here.

Wish this sore throat and cough would go away.

I must admit that I've gone and bought Pokemon: Black. Yes, I know, I know. I can only say that I traded in some old games and heavily reduced the price.

The embarrassing thing is that I've been so busy doing other stuff (quilting, reading, writing) that I haven't got round to actually even starting to play it yet. It feels wrong to have the guilt of purchasing it without even having had the fun of playing it yet. :)

"And what were they like? Do tell us!" said Algernon and Wilfred eagerly.

"Rags and bones, young gentlemen: all four of 'em: flutterin' rags and whity bones. It seemed to me as if I could hear 'em clackin' as they got along. Very slow they went, and lookin' from side to side."

"What were their faces like? Could you see?"

"They hadn't much to call faces," said the shepherd, "but I could seem to see as they had teeth."

MR James can terrify me into all-night wakefulness just with a sentence.

Which is why I didn't read it until today. ^_^ Oddly enough, it echoes something in a 100 Demons story that doesn't bother me nearly as much. James' eye for detail, I think.
