One of my coworkers was off on urgent personal business today, which meant I picked up her workload. Not anybody's fault as such, but still irritating.

Refrained from buying some reduced-price chocolate at Hotel Chocolat while trying to maintain virtuous intentions of dieting. Now regretting it. Virtue vs chocolate, always a hard one.

Three-day weekend coming up. That'll be nice.

Sewed bits of Dresden Plate blocks together to the sound of Patience.

Am I alone and unobserved? I am!
Then let me own I'm an aesthetic sham!
This air severe is but a mere veneer!
This cynic smile is but a wile of guile!
This costume chaste is but good taste misplaced!
