incandescensToday our team leader at work made us very, very happy by announcing that the second line checks on most query responses are being removed. Which leaves just peer review and first line review. And, most to the point from my point of view, this means that my group of the work team (who were having to do said second line checks, which took up a lot of time) won't have to do them any more, except on particularly difficult queries, or for an occasional audit.
Honestly, I can't remember having been to such a happy team meeting in my entire life. :)
