All right, I admit it. I watched a few bits of the Jubilee Concert on the television. Or rather, I listened to them, because I was ironing at the time.

And there were various entertaining things being performed, like some opera, and Diamonds are Forever (sung by Shirley Bassey), and Tom Jones performing Delilah, and someone else who I can't remember singing Mack the Knife, so all very suitable for a queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Finished most of the top of a new quilt. It's bigger than my usual stuff, so this is going to be "entertaining" to pin and quilt.

Another day off tomorrow. What a blissful thing it is to have days off. I never appreciated them properly when I was younger.

(Also, Belial is thrashing me in Diablo 3. I may have to actually develop some tactics.)

Delilah? Mack the Knife? (Tom Jones is still alive?) I wouldn't have thought any mention of violence appropriate to the occasion, but those two in particular...

Belial was the first fight where "stand still and keep hitting it" didn't work. I had to actually, you know, run around a bit between bouts of standing still and hitting it.

I'm running around a lot, but I haven't yet quite got the trick of avoiding a particular attack of his. Oh well, I daresay I'll get it sooner or later.

I still haven't figured out how to avoid all of Belial's attacks, which is unfortunate since in Inferno, I probably won't be able to survive it. XD Well, maybe. The bosses are supposedly easier than the elites. Seemed to hold true in Act I Inferno; I still die to elites regularly if I don't use hit-and-run tactics (and as melee, that's annoying, since it means I spend very little time damaging them and fighting takes forever), but I down the Butcher in one try every time. Act II . . . well, I might be able to handle it now. Maybe. I haven't tried it since pumping my resistances up a bit.

Possibly one will be able to get hold of better fire resistance gear at higher levels?

I find myself employing hit, run, and hit again attacks on pretty much all elites, but then I am playing a wizard, so standing and going toe-to-toe is not really my thing. :)
