What an excellent thing it was that I walked this way rather than that way in the shop today, that I chanced upon a copy of the original Les Miserables French concept album at a cheap price, that I decided that I needed it, and that I bought it. The music has been just what I needed to write to this evening.

I understand the below paragraphs better than I used to.

oooh - any chance of a copy?

Unfortunately my music centre is currently in a state of playing silly buggers, due to age, so I can't reliably copy stuff from CD onto tape, and my computer doesn't do CD-burning. However, I've been promised a new music centre (or contribution to same) for my birthday later in the year, so maybe then.
