Alas, the weekend's absolutely beautiful weather is slipping into more normal-for-this-time-of-year weather, with rain to come. It was nice while it lasted.

Managed to thrash out a particular decision in a meeting today over a disputed subject (to do with procedure coding) in a way that satisfied everyone present, will not involve metric tons of extra clinical standards and guidance and arguments over said guidance, and will actually promote good practice in general. If only all meetings and decisions went that well.

Have now finished the brand new Fair's Point from Melissa Scott. Excellent read, very much enjoyed, to the extent that I was reading it (from my Kindle) while walking back from work. Well, I didn't want to wait to find out what happened next...
