Sunday afternoon
Jun. 2nd, 2014 02:19 amFinished sewing a quilt binding while watching one of my Takarazuka versions of Elisabeth and eating ginger cake from Betty's and drinking coffee.
It was a nice way to spend a late Sunday afternoon.
Especially after I'd got the "chore" section of the afternoon out of the way.
---
There was a noise from behind them. Lofthouse arrived. She was staring in amazement at Quill.
"Yeah," he said. He wondered if she'd hug him or something.
She looked him up and down and finally nodded. "Right," she said.
"Indeed."
"Good," she said, then seemed to decide she had to put a stop to this unseemly outpouring of emotion.
