It is a tiny bit... well, not exactly depressing, but a slight commentary on human nature, I suppose, that showing a quilt top which involves a bit of Frozen-themed fabric gets widespread cries of "oh how pretty" and "where did you say your web shop was again", while a more complicated pattern which involved more complex choice of fabrics and harder work on my part fails to get the same degree of appreciation.

Ah well. Let it go...

Have also been proofreading part of the chapter from a current piece of work on psychiatric disorders, which naturally involves worrying whether or not I have most of them. I don't think so, but then I wouldn't necessarily know if I did. (Don't worry. This sort of hypochondria tends to go with the job. If I end up proofreading the chapter on digestive system disorders, I will no doubt be spending the next week clutching my stomach at the slightest twinge or gurgle.)

It's rather like the way fanfic gets so much more feedback than original fic, I suppose. Pre-existing associations make for an easy emotional hook! Or something.
