Oath in the Peach Garden
Oct. 6th, 2007 02:12 amWork today was hectic. And work's going to be hectic for the next few weeks, and up to my vacation, and probably as soon as I get back from it as well, so there probably isn't much point my keeping on saying it. Though it does make it feel a little better.
I am now the happy owner of Empire of Ivory, the fourth Temeraire book. (Yes, I did get it from amazon.com and wasn't prepared to wait till I got to America. Hush.) ( Fairly veiled mutterings, barely spoilers. )
I also managed to successfully pick up a row of wrapped short row stitches on my shawl-in-progress, commpleting the first panel. Go me.
(If you don't enjoy these things, what's the point?)

When saying the names Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, although the surnames are different, yet we have come together as brothers.
