minor pain

Eye is irritated; was irritated earlier, and since I couldn't conveniently take out my contact lens on the journey home, eye is definitely irritated. I think that I will take an earlier than usual night and see if that helps. Eye is not enthusiastic about lots of typing, ergo poem will continue tomorrow.

Contact lenses are fine most of the time. But when they decide to play silly buggers, they do it thoroughly.

Not serious inflammation, but more bloodshot than usual, and some minor pain. Botheration.

Need to check law on bringing absinthe to USA.

While I can't speak authoritatively on what the law may be, I doubt a bottle of absinthe would get past customs.

Do yourself a favor and wear your glasses tomorrow- a contact lens I didn't have the opportunity to take out bought me a corneal ulcer four years ago and I nearly lost the sight in my right eye. This was very painful and VERY expensive to fix- and you have to go into the docs every single day for a week to have it checked if your case is serious.

(winces) I am in my glasses, yes. My eyes do feel a lot better, but not totally themselves, and I'll probably stay in my glasses over the weekend too to make absolutely sure that my eye's back to normal. Thanks.

I am indeed wearing my glasses. Common sense and self-preservation made some definite points, and the memory of yesterday's pain enforced them.
