I don't believe it. I wandered all round Ikea this afternoon and didn't get anything. (Except a few blisters.)

Well, the thing is, I'd measured the available chunk of wallspace, and the only two bookcases that would have fitted (it's a lowish chunk, due to having the phone for the lower door entrance at approx 95cm) . . . well, one was white and a bit kitschy, and the other was frankly and obviously a Cheap one. And I don't mind cheap bookcases, but not obviously cheap ones in my entrance hall right next to the door.

So no new bookcase. (Today.)

Always fun going round Ikea, though. And MFI, and the other furniture shops in that shopping park . . .

Heh. I did battle with one of the three 59 kg bookcases today. I now have a ginormous bookcase awaiting its movable shelves and contents. I really hadn't conceived just how looming a 6' x 3' bookcase is. Only two will fit on the designated wall. Ooops.

I have one of those. One must anchor them as well, even if TO rarely has earthquakes. And they still aren't big enough, though you can double rank books on them.

Yeah, I've done that a few times. :)
