is it just me?
Feb. 14th, 2003 12:40 amI am very nervous when I install something new on my computer. I don't think it's just tech-phobia. It may just be the case of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing, so that I have half an idea of what I'm doing, and far too good an idea of everything that could go wrong.
(It was RealOne Player. Seems to be working fine so far. Fingers crossed.)
The singer is either chanting "Die die die die die die die" or "Da da da da da da da". Hm. It's something by a chap called Endo Masaaki called Boku Tou Sengen! Daigunder. Not unpleasant, anyhow.
Minamicon in three weeks. I am looking forward to it a lot. I hope not to be disappointed. The fact that it's actually in my hometown makes things so much easier. Hm. Should probably go through my doujinshi collection, such as it is, and see if I can bear to get rid of a few of my less dearly-loved buys. (Ebay doesn't always provide that good a description of contents, and there have been a few disappointments from the more commercial sellers.) Amusing -- looking at some photos of last year's convention, and the cosplayers there, they had a Yaone present. Not that I was a Saiyuki fan at the time, or had any idea of whom she was, or that they were showing any of the series, but . . . if only, if only. ;) Maybe she'll be there this year too. Maybe they'll have some Saiyuki episodes. Twould be cool.
Obsessive here, yes, you all knew that, you may now all return to your regularly scheduled enthusiasms. These things all go in degrees. :)
(Mm. Package expected from http://www.archonia.com/ any day now. 2nd volume of Hikaru No Go, first of Lady Oscar, Megatokyo, and several other interesting-sounding goodies. Mm. Mm, say I. Mm.)
